Nothing is free, they say. Ah! I beg to differ. Though not all things are free, most things can come at a minimal cost. And, I am speaking from experience. After all, Financio was made with a low cost so that you get it at a low cost too.
So here it is, Jye’s little secrets. I’m going to tell you the ways I did it when Financio was just a blossoming business. It won’t cost you anything to benefit from these tips.
When you have your own product or service, it’s a good idea to let people know of its presence. That’s basically the concept of spreading your product or service around.
While advertising can come at a very high price, there are alternatives where you can promote your business online for free.
I’ve been saying this since day one. Always be savvy! Keep up with the social media and online forums. There are plenty of start-ups that boomed from using Facebook.
A lot of pros will tell you to secure the handle you want for your business before anything else. Maximising the usage of hashtags will definitely help you reach further demographics.
A blog explaining the nature of your products or service will also help. Be fun and make your business seem fun. Or just pun, for fun, like I do. Highlight what makes your product valuable and how they can get the most from using it.
Find online communities, forums or e-magazines you can contribute to. If they are interested in your article, I’m pretty sure they are the right target market and will definitely take interest in the product you’re offering.
Make sure your items are optimised for search engines. Names, products, descriptions, etc must be constructed to be the top finds on Google mostly, but also try Yahoo and Bing. Be mindful of how you can appear on top whenever people search for you.
Being approachable is a good way to promote your business. Be interactive on your pages and see to it that you create a good relationship with the customers. Nothing spreads faster than word of mouth.
All in all, exposure is a pivotal point of your business. You’re going to need it and well let’s face it; the best option might not come up until later. Your best choice is to make use of the deck you’re handed.
Love,
Jye
